A Little Bit of This, A Little Bit of That

Hi readers,

The past few weeks have been pretty busy, so I haven’t really had much time to just sit down and do things I enjoy. But lately, I’ve finally started getting a little bit of that time back.

One of the things I’m especially happy about is that I finally got myself a desk and was able to set up my desktop PC again. My PC has been sitting in storage for about six months, so it feels a little strange to finally have it back.

I do enjoy gaming every now and then, even though I’m definitely not someone who plays all the time. There’s just something really nice about sitting down in the evening and getting completely absorbed in a game for a few hours.

And, of course, I had to start a new Stardew Valley save.

Stardew Valley is probably one of my favorite games, and I honestly think it’s one of the best games to play in autumn. There’s something about the whole atmosphere that just feels so cozy. The little farm, the changing seasons, the music, the characters and all the tiny things you can spend your time doing… it’s such a comforting game.

I’ve played Stardew Valley quite a lot before, but somehow starting a completely new farm is always fun. There’s something satisfying about starting from nothing again and slowly building everything up.

I also love that there’s no real pressure to play it in a certain way. Some days I’ll actually focus on the farm and try to get things done, and other days I’ll probably spend half the day fishing or running around talking to everyone instead, haha.

I’ve only just started this new save, so I’m still in the very beginning and have a lot of work to do. I’m already having way too much fun deciding what I want my farm to look like, though.

I think Stardew Valley is one of those games that I’ll probably always come back to. Especially when it gets colder outside and I just want something cozy to play in the evening.

I also have some plans for this weekend. I’m hoping to spend some time working on my book, which I haven’t had as much time for lately. I’m really looking forward to sitting down and getting back into it again!

Other than that, the apartment is slowly starting to look a little more finished too. I finally have a coffee table and a TV stand now, so it’s beginning to look a little less like I just moved in. There’s still a lot left to do, but I’m trying to take my time finding furniture and things I actually love.

For now, I’m just happy to have my little gaming setup back, a new Stardew Valley farm to work on, and a few things to look forward to this weekend. <3

Have you ever played Stardew Valley? If you have, what’s your favorite thing to do in the game?

Until next time, ♡
